Richard Peycke started his career in the IT industry, first as a systems analyst and later as the IT manager of one of SA's largest construction groups. He studied part time through the University of SA, to get a BA honours degree with an honours in psychology and a major in economics. He was a co-founder of the Community and Individual Development Association in 1979. His job was to coordinate self development and empowerment projects around South Africa. His area of interest is the development of education systems that unfold full human potential, particularly exploring the development of the full brain through the development of consciousness. He has been a pioneer of the system of Consciousness-Based Education in South Africa, both at the individual and national level, and his educational activities have won local and international acclaim. Repke, M.D. Dr. Repke attended Jefferson Medical College where she graduated with honors, having been elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. After serving her internship at The Medical Center of Delaware, she completed her residency in Ophthalmology at the Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. This was followed by an additional year of specialty training in Ophthalmic Plastic, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery, also at Wills Eye Hospital. Dr. Repke is a board certified Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor on the Cataract and Primary Eye Care Service of Wills Eye Hospital. She serves on the staff of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and performs her surgery in the Wills Eye Surgical Network at the Stadium Campus of South Philadelphia. Dr. Repke specializes in Cataract and intraocular lens surgery, as well as cosmetic and restorative eyelid surgery.
